Cyberlink Powerdirector - http://www.cyberlink.com/products/power ... .html?&r=1

If you plan on buying it, get the ultimate edition, well that was recommended for me at least. What usually takes an hour and some change in sony vegas takes about the length of the actual video or less to render on my terrible laptop.

wiifanluke wrote:Okay, another on topic question. I tried MPEG-4 with powerdirector, and the render times are wonderful, as well as the upload times to youtube!!!! 8 minutes for a 21 minutes video!!! If I were using MPEG-2, it would be around 160 minutes for a 21 minute video! Anyway, I just want to know if MPEG4 is glitchy at all with powerdirector abd if it is better quality than MPEG2 if so, then I will purchase powerdirecter right then and there.
I've been using it for about 4 videos, seems fine for me. I've never used MPEG-2 so I'm not totally sure.

My editor is pinnacle studio 14 and when I look at the different types of video output I see one called "Pinnacle MPEG 2 Encoder" When I click on it, it says "This application has failed to start because pcleUtil.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." What do I do?
Get a capture software. Pinnacle Studio 14 is terrible and is probably the worst out there. I remember having it for my dazzel capture card.
Easy fix. I'm guessing you're doing gameplay videos "3ds capture card", so go and Livestream it in 720-1080p with Xsplit or free livestream programs, then use twitch to upload it to youtube.
Other than that you will need to buy a better software than pinnacle, I used it for 2 years and its crap.
