Hello, I was wondering if it's possible to do the installation without sacrificing the IR port? The IR port is really important for me for communicating between Pokemon games so ideally I would love if it can be done while keeping full functionality. Thanks!

I vaguely recall hearing about other capture cards requiring the IR Blaster be removed, which, although idk the exact function, I'd like to keep.

The IR port is not sacrificed. According to the images Loopy shared with how the New3DS capture card installation looked.

Loopy, I actually have another question. I want to record footage whenever im on the go, and carry around with me a pc-free capture device that only takes HDMI Output. Is there anyway to convert the output from the usb-c cable into hdmi?
