Hello, I've had my DS capture card since 2019 (the one with USB micro). I've previously had some issues with slightly delayed audio (a fraction of a second) when using a male to male audio cable from my DS to my PC, but was able to fix it by changing some audio settings. I recently reinstalled Windows since I replaced my SSD, and installed new audio drivers. I've noticed that I'm having audio delay again (which is an issue for Mario Kart DS since the start boost timing is significantly different). Me and another capture card user, Pikalex04, are still having this issue. I tried changing audio settings again, but saw no difference. I'll attach some images of my current audio settings. I'm using the Realtek Audio Console, which is included in the Realtek audio drivers I installed from the Gigabyte website.
DS Capture Card Audio Delay
Re: DS Capture Card Audio Delay
I've resolved the issue by installing an older version of the Realtek audio drivers which comes with the Realtek HD audio manager application. This lets me adjust the "recording" and "playback" volume (playback has no delay, recording has some delay). Not sure why this isn't included in newer versions, and it was pretty tedious to find online, but I'm glad this works. If anyone else has the same issue, and your hardware is compatible with Realtek drivers, make sure to get version [PG463], which includes the audio manager.
