"Not connected" message

Hello,

I've bought a second-hand 3DS XL with a capture card installed. I have been assured that it works, the seller showed it working correctly on their computer.

I've followed the steps of downloading the 3DS Capture software, installing the drivers and running the exe, but when I run it, it says "Not connected".

In the Device Manager, it has shown up as a USB device called "Cypress FX2LP No EEPROM Device", so my computer is definitely detecting that it is plugged in.

I've wiped the 3DS and set it up from scratch, used different cables, different USB slots, and a separate computer, and the same thing has happened on each.

Any help or further troubleshooting I can try would be much appreciated!

That is a "3DS Optimize Capture Card". Search for its software with that.
Loopy's software will not work with such a Capture Card.
