A green lines at the bottom of my screen and no sound, just static.
Given the noise, I want to think the audio connection points or do you think otherwise?

The screen also started flickering when I launched a game.

To be clear, those lines do not appear on the actual console's screen, right?

Correct, these don't appear on the DS itself, the DS works normally.
Other DS capture cards work just fine with the PC software.
