Changing Battery

Post by VideoGamer54321 » Tue Mar 12, 2013 12:52 am

Hello. I'm new here. My name is Brandon. I'm not sure if anyone asked this yet, but will I still be able to change the battery from the 3DS? I'm just asking because I want to do that whenever the battery isn't working anymore. I plan to buy the Capture Card when I save some money.

Of course you will, it wouldn't be a Portable Device, otherwise.

Yeah, you can. I haven't tried it (won't until I need to replace the battery), but you can remove the capture card on your own. You just need a small Phillip's screwdriver to remove the screws, and I'd assume to can carefully remove the board and replace the battery. Maybe Loopy can put a How To if it's hard to do.

The board covers part of the battery so you need to move it. You'll need to pry it up. It's firmly stuck to the 3DS with double sided tape (the case isn't a perfect fit, so the board can rattle around inside without it). It might be a good idea to disconnect the flat cable first so you can't pull on it and break something.
