I... am going to be a little blunt.

I'm really looking forward to when the new boards dropped. Considering that 2023 will probably be the year Nintendo will retire the 3DS and Wii U, I'm trying to get whatever games I can so I can cover them, have them on YT, etc. It's a lot to work with and a lot to take in but hey, it's going to be interesting.

Just got the final New 3DS in the mail today, 4x devices in total. Thought I'd wait for this one rather than grabbing an OGDS. Looking forward to it!

I'm interested in a 3DS with a capture setup however I couldn't find anything on Google about input lag. Does the 3DS capture mod add any input delay at all? If so, has anybody done any thorough testing on this to get facts over speculation?

Also, is there any info on what the new kit in development will do over the previous releases(new features etc.) or is it purely to work on more variations of the console?

There's some lag in Loopy's original, but it's so miniscule it didn't affect anything I was playing such as Mario & Luigi games. The Optimize cards (ones by Katsukity) also add a little lag, as Bob from RetroRGB recently did a stream showcasing it. If the Optimize card's setting are tweaked you get as low as 2 frames of lag max, but it varies depending on the system it's connected too.

I'm hoping for a low lag direct HDMI or similar solution one day as consolization is what I'm ultimately wanting. I'm surprised that it hasn't been yet to be honest.
