Hello!
To get this out of the way:
Both screens work, All Buttons work, Cartridge works, SD works, charging and wifi work.
I am unable to boot to home menu. I had a similar issue to a recent post, but felt I should make my own. I can load up CFW menus such as Godmode9 and Luma on startup, but when I try to go to home I get the same black screens as before.

Re: Unable to boot to home
i also want to add that the capture card DOES work with this device. I've just ran into this issue that i didnt have prior and hoped i could find some help.
my hours of research led me to dead ends so i assume its some solder error or something...

Re: Unable to boot to home
Seems like a CFW issue, I doubt it has anything to do with soldering or the capture card.
Is the SD card in? Does it need the SD card to boot?

Re: Unable to boot to home
the SD card is in and is able to be read by Godmode9. i have CFW on my NAND. same booting issue whether the SD card is in or out.
the reason i believe something I did was the cause is because it has worked fine every time in the past and i've never had this issue
i just dont understand why it is operable and the CFW menus boot on startup, but the actual home menu where all my games and stuff are wont?

Re: Unable to boot to home
leaving it on to see if it'll boot while i'm out doing stuff (CFW can take a long time so i assume maybe it's because the battery was removed).
i wonder if there is anything hardware related that may have caused this? loose ribbon cable or something?
also i had a backup nand from before i started and i restored to that nand and still nothing. i'll try some more stuff in a bit and update if i find anything.
update: no boot after being on for hours lol

Re: Unable to boot to home
i'm seeing that a mistake i thought i cleaned up still lingers. some solder fell in this area by mistake and i thought i got it all with the solder sucker.
could this be why?

Re: Unable to boot to home
It's possible, yes.
