New 3DS XL not detected by Computer.

Post by HunterHunter » Sun Apr 07, 2024 4:19 am

Hello. I purchased my new 3ds xl capture card last summer and it worked great up until just now. Connected it to a new computer, and it keeps saying not detected. I have already installed the driver, but still nothing. I do not see it listed in Device Manager. I connected it to my laptop where it worked just fine a couple months back, but that as well cannot detect it. Another thing is when I tried to install the driver it says "The device driver installation wizard successfully scanned your machine but did not find any devices to be updated." In the status bar it says "Not needed(No device for update present)" Then a window called Program Compatibility Assistant opens up saying "This program might not have installed correctly". It gives two options, "Install using compatibility settings" or "This program installed correctly". When I choose the first it goes through the installation process again, but this time the Status bar says "Ready to use". When i check the drivers in device manager i now have two drivers for ftdibus3. I have already tried uninstalling both, and reinstalling, but the computer still cannot detect the 3ds. Just trying to give as much info as i can. I am running this on Windows 11. Thank you.

Have you tried using a different cable?
