I wouldn't want you to assume this too much. He's definitely helped folks out in the past as a favor, but he's also trying to run his own operation here. I'm sure fixing up his competitor's products wouldn't be a huge priority, but when he does it, it's because he's awesome and nice like that. It's not a service he advertises.

Actually, you can transfer over your NNID just as long as the system you're transferring your data to is formatted first.

With a system transfer? Those take forever and there's a limit to how many you can do within a certain period of time.

I check this board every day looking for news about the XL version. My hands are too big for playing on a regular 3DS to be any fun. I'd be willing to take the risk of being an early adopter, too; I'm not concerned about the money involved, and am willing to install the board myself.

Hey Loopy,
You've been saying for a while now that the 3DS XL capture boards would be "finished soon". You also said they would for sure be available before Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire would be out too. I've been waiting for yours specifically from what you've been saying since late August to purchase from you, but should I still be counting on you to have them soon because nothing seems to have happened yet? Is there an update at all coming soon from the XL capture boards??

Until I post actual dates, don't believe anything I say. It's been "maybe another month" for a long time... which more or less means it takes a month of uninterrupted work to get it done. That never happens. Whenever I get busy with orders, everything else tends to come to a grinding halt. In that sense, I guess they're only one week away now Whatever that means.

I've been spending a lot more time on the controller mod lately, to be honest. I've done nothing but capturestuff for the last 3 years, it gets tiresome and it's nice to work on something different for a change.

I don't speak for everyone, but I know the original 3ds fits my hands better with the larger backplate needed for the capture card.
