About a month ago I received a new 3DS with the capture card installed. After a week or so of use the circle pad would begin behaving funny periodically (getting stuck in up/down position while in the neutral position), but I would just recalibrate it and it would work fine again. Recently though it has had major input delay when moving it left or right and recalibrating does not work, but for some reason powering the 3DS on and off would fix it. Just today however it has ceased to work and my only recourse seems to be to open it up and fix it myself or to send it back.
I'm not sure how difficult it is to get at the circle pad or if issues with it are a common thing and easy to fix, so if anyone has had a similar issue any input would be appreciated.
Circle pad has stopped working
Re: Circle pad has stopped working
My guess is to send it back to get fixed. Cause If you try to fix it yourself you may end up breaking the card.
Re: Circle pad has stopped working
Yeah, you can send it back. I'll replace the analog stick on it.

Ok great, I'll do that.loopy wrote:Yeah, you can send it back. I'll replace the analog stick on it.
The capture card itself has been working flawlessly, so thanks for all the work you've put into it.
Re: Circle pad has stopped working
Hey Loopy.
My 3DS should have arrived yesterday. I'm merely curious as to how you handle repairs and orders so I could get a better idea of when I should expect to be getting it back.
Thanks again.
