Re: USB audio test
Just curious, Loopy, what happened to the video formats you had in the 5-24-13 beta (2D, 3D, 3D Stretched, NVidia 3D Vision, DS upscaled, DS 1:1)? Guess those didn't gain ground in usage?
Re: USB audio test
The 3D beta is a different code branch. This audio test was based on the main release version.
Re: USB audio test
Many thanks for your efforts on this, Loopy. Will you also be providing updated firmware for the DS Capture to do audio via USB?
Re: USB audio test
No, the DS board can't do audio.Vulajin wrote:Many thanks for your efforts on this, Loopy. Will you also be providing updated firmware for the DS Capture to do audio via USB?
Re: USB audio test
Can't wait for the next update to hopefully see if it fixes my issue.
Re: USB audio test
So after a little bit of work, I wanted to test to see if I could use a microphone on my headset to be able to stream some 3DS gameplay and have audio of the game includes in the stream. Basically I wanted to talk to my viewers as well as have them be able to hear the game.
So far it worked amazingly! I did a test video and it did record my voice as well as the game sounds. Thanks so much Loopy! This is exactly what I was hoping for.

New version is up, see if that fixes it.Bastion wrote:Just tested it myself. I open the app, get 2 seconds of audio, then it freezes and skips with whatever audio it did grab.
Re: USB audio test
Yup fixed it! Thanks! You're saving me from not only ANOTHER cable on my desk, but getting rid of VAC. Re: USB audio test
Not sure how much use this is to anyone, but I live in the UK and just bought a second hand 3DS with a capture card. It appeared to be fitted by http://www.merki.net/ I say that because it had their driver CD in the box.
Anyway I can confirm that after updating the firmware the USB audio works brilliantly on it so I'm well chuffed with that.
Thanks Loopy!
