Extra flex cable

I've bought a new 3DS console to replace my old one, and I'd like to reinstall the capture card. I installed myself the capture card on my original 3DS, so I have no problems with doing it again. The big problem is that removing the flex cable from the old console seems to be very difficult, and with a high chance of breaking something, so I'd like to buy an extra cable to do the new installation. Is that an option?
