It's fine now but usually it's the first thing to go. I'm also going to play the crap out of monster hunter 4 Ultimate when it comes out which will surely destroy my shoulder buttons. I could not send it to nintendo since it's obviously modded.
I'm not saying for free of course. I'd gladly pay.

I don't want this to turn into a 3DS repair business though. I don't mind fixing stuck buttons and the like if you're already sending in your 3DS, but there are other console repair places available for this sort of thing.

How about if someone sends the parts to repair the shoulder buttons with the system. I too am interested in a 3DS capture device, and my right shoulder button is dead.

Yes, if you already have spare parts, installing them isn't a problem.
