Will updating my 3DS to the latest version disable the board

I'm just curious.

The 3DS got a new update, but it never got disabled from earlier ones.

The capture board is not affected by 3DS updates.

The Capture card only displays video (and sends sound) from the 3ds, it doesn't even come remotely close to being affected by updates.
