Record Game Audio In-Program (Without Stereo Mix)?

Post by someonewhodied » Mon Aug 25, 2014 10:44 pm

When i play I usually have a USB headset in. Unfortunately, audio that goes through that headset does NOT go through stereo mix for me.

Is it possible to record game audio natively without stereo mix?

I ask because when playing on stream I can't have both a local recording within the program AND Xsplit with commentary, and I can't talk in skype calls while recording gameplay with audio.

Unfortunately, no. I haven't added that capability yet. You might try other screen capture software. Dxtory lets you record multiple audio sources, that might do what you want.

I can get what i want (sort of) with xsplit.

The problem is that it has a ton of wasted recording space (the black edges that aren't recorded in the 3dscapture program)

I was just wondering if it could be done in this program yet.
