kit isn't working

Hi,

I recently bought the original ds capture kit from your website. After it turning on it is now not turning on at all and the battery will not charge. I was wondering whether it would be possible to send it to you for you to fix it? I can't make it work at all.

Try re-seating all of the ribbon cables - the DS might not turn on if they are not fully connected. Ribbon cables are annoyingly finicky when it comes to the connection, it might look fully inserted but it's easy to be just off. If you did your own USB charging mod, check your work there too, but FYI if you just put the board and ribbon cables in the DS won't charge via the USB connection. That requires extra wiring and soldering.

I tried replacing them again and it still isn't working. I'm wondering if something snapped or broke. I should have really sent it in in hindsight!

Where did you get that idea?! You just use the dedicated charging port...

If you see the screen flash white with a 'pop' sound and turn off, the cable just needs to be adjusted.
If the DS doesn't turn on at all, it probably blew a fuse. You can find youtube videos on how to fix it. Or you can send it in, it's an easy fix.
