3ds Capture Card Longevity / Heat?

Post by EzM » Thu Sep 10, 2020 10:36 pm

I received an older loopy 3ds capture card and it gets warm on the bottom right of the unit. The battery is flat, so no bulging.

Should I be concerned about using the capture card for long periods of time, or charging it at the same time as recording?

Loopy cards seem to have good durability, and I want to ensure that persists. Thanks!

It can get warm. Nothing to worry about. If it's uncomfortably hot, that might be a problem.
It's powered from USB and shouldn't affect the battery, you can charge at the same time.
