My NDS touchscreen which has the mod implemented, has accuracy issues and physical damage on the top layer, so I tried to open it up to repair myself hoping for a quick fix. The problem is that the modded ds i bought from here had it installed in a space that covered one of the Y00 screw holes required to take the back off, making it impossible to repair/replace the touchscreen. What should I do?
I have attached an image that should be able to display the damage on the touchscreen and how bad the accuracy is near the center of the screen. The damage is chipped into the screen, not raised out.
Also on a side note, if you have recommendations for other tall styli that don't have a metal tip/aren't as heavy hitting on the screen and would be less likely to chip the screen with my (at times) aggressive play, I'm open to ideas. My hands are really large and cannot use a stock ds stylus with confidence.

You would need to remove the board. It's stuck down with double sided tape.

Oh, you're just trying to get the back cover off?
That screw isn't installed. It's a little awkward because of how the USB connector is positioned, but you just need to tilt the cover as you're pulling it up, and kind of work it around the USB connector to get it off.
