3Ds with capture not being read?

Hiii so I just recently bought a secondhand 3Ds with one of loopy's capture cards on it, and I cant get past any of the steps to make sure everything works because well, it wont even read the ds on my pc! I've tried multiple micro usb cords and none of which will pick anything up at all. I even tried my micro usb that goes to my microphone and nothing Does anyone have any ideas?
