OG DS Capture Card Screen Issue

I recently installed a capture card to my DS (in perfect working order before this), and after the installation process I've been having this visual issue which appears identically on both the DS screens and capture card. I've tried to make the soldering as clean as possible and adjusted ribbon cables to no avail.

Some of the bottom screen's elements are visible on the top screen and vice-versa. I've recorded a video that demonstrates the issue: https://youtu.be/gc7l0wbYumg

If anybody knowledgeable could let me know whether this is an issue with the capture board, my soldering work, the ribbon cables being loose, or something else, I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Hard to say without looking at it. I'd just redo the installation and see if that fixes it.
