DS Capture card output still has messed up colours, gives out same error even after soldering everything correctly

What does this error mean? I've checked all cables, soldered everything correctly, and I still get this damn error:
0:0:0:OK=0 SKIPS=0 ERRORS=48 STUCK=DCK SPL GCK GSP (FFFF 0000 0F)

What do you mean by messed up colors? Can you post a screenshot? If the soldering is good, it might be a bad cable connection.

I can’t post a screenshot right now, but what I mean is that the colours look all wrong, on both the capture output and the screens on the DS, even if the capture card isn’t plugged in. It looks very similar to this https://3dscapture.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6653 except it’s got a red pinkish tint to it.

Could it also be because I have a newer revision of the DS phat motherboard that supports DS lite firmware and higher brightness settings? I noticed there are actually different chips on the board compared to an older revision motherboard.

Have you tried to install the capture card on newer boards before?

Generally ghosting artifacts like that indicate a connection issue, try reconnecting all the LCD cables.
