Re: N3DS status / feedback
I look forward to it. Next year, I will probably invest on a New 3DS XL with a capture board and I will most likely do so since it's high time I probably get back to recording 3DS stuff again and there's a lot that I want to do. Rock on Loopy. it's why I put my faith in you.

Re: N3DS status / feedback
any specific time frame for when you fully begin posting up the sales for the capture card again?
Re: N3DS status / feedback
Minor update. DS display modes are working again. The debug console is hidden on startup (hit F12 to open). Window positions are saved now.

Re: N3DS status / feedback
The sooner it's available, the sooner I can invest in getting it because finding out about this is going to make me want to do 3DS stuff again on YouTube, especially DS since I want to do the Dragon Quest DS games.loopy wrote: ↑Wed Dec 28, 2022 9:06 amMinor update. Audio capture isn't working in the 12/28 version. It still works in the 12/15 version. I noticed that the "Output device" dropdown is missing from the 12/28 version; not sure if that's relevant.
I did the following test in the 12/15 and 12/28 versions: Open the program with the cable unplugged from the computer, open the debug window, and plug in the cable. The output from each version is as follows:
12/15 (audio working):
12/28 (audio not working):

Re: N3DS status / feedback
Yeah, like 3DSFan mentioned, I kind of missed the output device setting for streaming. Now I'm forced to use desktop audio. I would love to re-route it to a virtual audio cable for streaming.
Re: N3DS status / feedback
Looks like I made too many changes and broke things. I reverted some code, audio should be back the way it was.
Re: N3DS status / feedback
Thanks. Audio is working now.
I found another issue: If I'm recording and I minimize or restore the preview window, the program drops a few frames. An immediate way to see the drop is to watch the average FPS counter. It will dip down, then climb back up.

Re: N3DS status / feedback
I skipped the last couple releases, but the new version prompts me to update the firmware in a continuous loop:
Re: N3DS status / feedback
Oh. Yeah. I see what I did wrong there.
Unplugging / restarting should take care of it, but I'll fix that in the next release.
