Display issues after install of N3DSXL kit

Hello, so I just recently installed the N3DSXL kit and am not getting a display on either screen. Everything seems to be seated correctly and I had no resistance sliding in the flex cables but if it helps I am also not getting a display when I plug the standard cables back in either. Any tips would be helpful

Definitely something not connected right, the cables are probably just not pushed in all the way. (Or maybe connectors are damaged, hard to say without seeing it.)
Are the screens dark or lit up?

For the bottom screen at least, the backlight is powered by this smaller cable.

yeah, it does. for some reason im not getting a backlight or displays

I don't know. Looking at your pictures, I don't see anything amiss. But a bad connection is still the most likely culprit. Unless you also damaged the motherboard in the process...

i know you generally repair your own board from what ive been reading but could i pay the difference for the self install and installation as well as compensate you for any repairs as well for you to take a look? i'll cover all shipping of course
