Unable to use buttons or touch screen sometimes when i start my 3ds

it was working fine a day ago , but now its difficult to move with the dpad or touch screen, the 3d slider bugs out and the static goes off even with the volume all the way down. trying to see if anyone else has similar problems and hope i could get repairs

One of my guesses is that something may not be connected properly, internally, especially if this has been disassembled before. I know I've had trouble reconnecting some of those ribbon cables.

Also, I've heard that if something gets jammed under the bezel around the edges of the touchscreen, it can make a constant input on the touchscreen, in which case it disables certain button functions on the Home Menu. Check the edges of the screen, between the screen and the plastic bezel, for any debris.

This was a self-install you sent in to get fixed, right?
Sounds like something more serious, I don't know what's going on with it but I'll take a look at it if you want to send it back.
