New 3DSXL Capture Card not working with OBS

I recently received a New 3DS you installed a capture card into. I took it from the box and plugged it in almost immediately (after installing the needed drivers and programs) and while it worked on its own, the moment I opened OBS the screen started to pixelate uncontrollably until I closed OBS again.

Is this a normal occurrence with these boards? Is there a suggestion you might have to work around this? Is anyone else experiencing/experienced something like this? Thank you!

What do you mean by pixelate?
I'm not very familiar with OBS but I know plenty of other people use it with these boards, that isn't normal. Sometimes switching to a different USB port can make a difference.

You click the "+" in the below and click "Window Capture". Then, select "[3ds_capture.exe]: 3DS Capture - Single".

What number update of OBS is it?

Posted a before opening OBS photo and an after one. This happens immediately after opening even if it isn't part of a window capture

Wait, I'm sorry. I got hasty. Swapped ports for USB and all is good. Not sure this is useful for others but all seems fine now. Thank you. Can't say why this was OBS driven but I'm not going to question
