Issue after install, need help troubleshooting, black screen popping.

The 3ds has the orange led for charging, if I press and hold the power button the blue second turns on for a second the speakers pop and it turns off. The screen never comes on during this, any idea where I should start?

Check that this cable isn't loose.

I'm in the exact same scenario right now. reseated the ribbon cable and no luck

Edit: I'm an idiot... custom firmware was installed and I needed the SD card inserted

Having the same issue at the moment. On my end all the ports are connected, and my SD card is inserted since I have custom firmware installed. Could it have anything to do with the solder points? Or would it still be ribbon related?
