Swap between OG DS and N3DS XL mode in 3DS Capture software?

I have an original DS model and a new 3DS XL both with loopy capture cards and I am wondering if there is a setting somewhere for the 3DS capture software to default to 3DS mode. It seems that when both of them are connected it defaults to the DS mode even if the DS is not on. Is there a toggle somewhere? Currently I just have to disconnect the DS and relaunch the software which works but it would be convenient if anyone knows an alternative.

Does this help? I changed it so it will try to connect to the most recently used device.
