Constant disconnect

I installed the mod earlier this month and haven't begun using it since busy but I've tried using it recently and it is constantly discounting and reconnecting. It wierd because ik the cable is good but if I press hard on the center of the botton screen it stays connected any ideas of what I can do?

It's hard to say without looking at it, but if squeezing the console causes connection issues, that sounds like something's shorting out inside.
It might help to clean up the soldering (get rid of big solder blobs etc).
