3D capturing
Re: 3D capturing
This weekend. I was dorking around with Nvidia 3DVision display, but maybe I'll hold off on that until I've got the bugs worked out.
Re: 3D capturing
I'm just curious, that wouldn't work if you uploaded to YouTube, would it?
Re: 3D capturing
Youtube does support 3D video, however, it doesn't support ALL 3D video. I'm sure if you look around you can find a tutorial on it. I have seen videos on Youtube in 3D before and they don't look that bad.

IDK how 3d recording works here but you can upload side-by-side or top-bottom youtube videos in 3D.TommyTLG wrote:I'm just curious, that wouldn't work if you uploaded to YouTube, would it?

I posted this sample recording here a while ago. http://3dscapture.com/tmp/kid_3d.avi If you've got NVidia's 3D vision player, you can watch it with 3D glasses. NVidia 3D in Youtube is trickier, videos need to be encoded in a specific format and only works in Firefox, last time I checked. No idea how it is with AMD cards, I haven't looked into it yet.

Re: 3D capturing
Can't you just save the pictures for the two different screens side-by-side (in the record function)? It's easier to record and it's easier to upload to youtube.loopy wrote:I posted this sample recording here a while ago. http://3dscapture.com/tmp/kid_3d.avi If you've got NVidia's 3D vision player, you can watch it with 3D glasses. I don't understand what you mean. That is side by side.
