heat resistance temperature of flexible cables?

Post by penta » Tue Mar 12, 2024 12:19 am

Sorry for any rudeness or strange wording due to machine translation.

Trying to self-install.
I am wondering what is the heat resistant temperature of the flexible cable?
I have heard of this type of cable melting when soldered, so I would like to confirm.
I don't want to put as much load on it as possible considering the possibility of replacing it with another chassis later on.

It's made of polyimide. It should not melt when soldered.

(If it's melting, your soldering iron temperature is WAY higher than it should be).

hello Loopy. Sorry for disturbing you. I want to buy a ds capture board, but it says on your website that they will go on sale in March 2024, and April is already ending. Can you tell me when approximately they will be on sale? Or maybe you can pre-order? forgive me again for disturbing you.
