Works great with the retrotink 4k. At least this one doesn't scale weirdly even on windowed mode.
FYI, in the next release you will be able to use command arguments for certain things, including the windows' positions.
That should make it easier to use it with the RT4k (and to do scripts).
You can try it out right now using this: https://github.com/Lorenzooone/cc3dsfs/ ... tly-latest
To check the available arguments, use ./cc3dsfs -h

Just downloaded this software, when it detected my 2 captures cards, it was scrolling upwards constantly. When I managed to select one, same thing, the options that appear when you right click would also scroll upwards constantly. How can I fix this?

Downloaded the software in hopes to have 2 systems going at once for recording on OBS, as for some reason they both launch via the normal 3dscapture app provided on the site, but when OBS is launched, only one works at a time.

Hmm... Let's try tackling the first issue...
So... Download the latest nightly from here: https://github.com/Lorenzooone/cc3dsfs/ ... tly-latest
Then, press Enter or right click with the mouse and go to the second page in the Main Menu, then, select "Input Settings" and select "Disable controllers".
That should do it...

So the right-click menu to get to Input Settings is also constantly scrolling up. Anytime I mouse-click the arrow to go to the Input Settings, it then clicks back to the previous screen.

I did manage to wrestle my way into it and disable controller, which is strange as I had none plugged in, but that did fix the scrolling. But it doesn't seem to save it, as I opened a second app for the 2nd DS I wanted to capture and it started happening again.

I got it resolved too, and attempted to save a profile for each. The 3DS saved a profile fine, the DS didn't, for whatever reason. Keeps saying Save failed. Regardless, when relaunching the app, the menu scrolling thing just happens again, so it doesn't seem to be something the profile saving retains - either that, or it doesn't load my saved profile by default and instead goes with default settings? Not sure.

But what I can say is they work on OBS. So as long as I can figure out the scrolling menus issue, this app is gonna be perfect for what I need, thank you.

Small update - I extracted the zip to a folder.

It successfully let me save a profile to the Initial Profile, so now it'll load with the correct screen size and controller disabled for the first console I connect, which is excellent. That's nice and flawless.

When opening the app for the second console, it fails to load (and still can't save), so it returns to default and the second console needs manually setup again, including the controller issue.

This is at least a half fix, I assume maybe the app just has trouble running two of itself at once? Is there a way from one-launch of the app I can select 2 consoles to view at once, maybe?

That's... Weird...
But not a problem.
There are two ways to "fix" this:
1) Launch the program from the command line, with the --profile ID argument to change the default profile it loads at startup and saves to. Example (assuming Windows) with profile 2:

Code: Select all

./cc3dsfs.exe --profile 2
2) After you launch the second instance (which has the controller issue) press F2 or something similar to load the corresponding profile.

Is it possible to add the remote touch feature of input redirection? Some of the input redirection apps allowed mouse to be used for touch like InputRedirectionClient-Qt

Yes, I plan on adding it with the rest of Input Redirection support.

I am currently focused on adding other new features and improving performance and compatibility, but I have not forgotten about it.

hey loren, do you have a compatibility list and the resoltuion they can run with for each raspberry pi? i was wondering would a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W would run on this and with what resolution and framerate?

A Raspberry Pi 3 is capable of a stable(ish with X11) 1080p60. But that is pushing it. A raspberry Pi 4 can do 4k60.

With that said, a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is slightly weaker on the CPU side than a Raspberry Pi 3. However, I do not think that would be the deciding factor.
Likewise, a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W's RAM should be fine.

The most important parts would be:
1) The capabilities of the GPU (if any is on-board).
2) The capabilities of the Micro USB port. The Raspberry Pi 3/4/5 have really good USB capabilities. So that would be a decisive factor.

The answer is that in reality I do not know because I do not have one... However, these are the things that may cause problems.
