It only started being a problem recently, there's a kind of flicker (linked below) happening to my screen when plugging the capture card in. Only happening in the capture, not in the 3ds itself. I've already tried switching the USB ports and cable, neither worked. I'm on my desktop, will be trying on my laptop as well. Any help is appreciated.

This looks very much like a USB bandwidth issue...cyndaquilofpower wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 10:02 amIt only started being a problem recently, there's a kind of flicker (linked below) happening to my screen when plugging the capture card in. Do you have something else connected at the same time?
Is the connection USB2 or USB3?

Sorry for the late response. The connection is USB3 I believe, I have my keyboard and mouse, wifi dongle, USB hard drive and microphone plugged in. I'm unsure if this makes a difference, but the wifi dongle and microphone are plugged into ports far away from the other stuff.Lorenzooone wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 6:43 pmThis looks very much like a USB bandwidth issue...cyndaquilofpower wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 10:02 amIt only started being a problem recently, there's a kind of flicker (linked below) happening to my screen when plugging the capture card in. Try checking if removing any of them improves the situation. (doubt it's keyboard and mouse, fyi)cyndaquilofpower wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 10:13 pmSorry for the late response. Oh shoot I’m sorry I never sent a response. So in removing the USB hard drive it seemed to have improved it. The only thing I noticed is that, only at the end of the session it did it again, but I was about to close it anyway so I don’t know if that is a problem that can happen after enough time has passed?Lorenzooone wrote: ↑Thu Oct 09, 2025 7:36 amTry checking if removing any of them improves the situation.
