DS Capture card screen glitch

hello! apologies if this is the wrong place for this but ive tried everything and im going insane. i installed a loopy capture card myself in an original ds and im using cc3dsfs to record footage (i would use loopys software but im on linux mint) the ds screens themeslves are fine and work as normal but the captured footage is incredibly buggy, link attached to see whats going on. thank you for any help! <3

This either is a problem with your USB Controller (extremely weird), or the soldered points.
What happens if you try with another cable/another USB port?

Do you have a Windows PC you could test this on with Loopy's software to be sure?
