I was streaming pokemon and a person asked me if I was using a 3DS emulator, I explained I was using a capture board and they replied saying well can you try to help me figure out how get this emulator working. They sent me the following link.

I was amazed at how realistic it looked and it didn't look like it was made in Photoshop. But then I realized its the 3DS capture board software that loopy made. Anyways I made a video explaining how its fake. I can only hope I'm not too late.

People have been making these videos as soon as the board was done.
A lot of them make a shell UI and then download our footage. Always fun to see an emulator that only they have working at full speed. It will be years and years before a working emulator comes even close to 30fps.

...so umm... how exactly did Youtube consider Mario Kart 7 footage, which is copyrighted by Nintendo, yours legally enough to give them a copyright strike?

this "emulator" is nothing but a scam. you are required to tweet their site, +1 on google plus, and like on face book to download the bios. and on top of that you are require to fill out an online survey every time you run the program.

Once you actually get a chance to open a file, it literally does nothing.
