I'm just wondering why there is a HUGE gap in price from DS installation and the 3DS installation?
I'm wondering because it's nearly $200 difference, I would understand $50 or maybe $100 price difference. The 3DS card can't be that big of a difference from DS card, can it?

The boards aren't that similar. The DS board is cheaper to make and easier to install.
Demand is also a factor. DS is old hat. They sell slowly. Not the case for 3DS. This was also discussed in another thread.

Indeed, besides, DS Capture Boards are way easier to install, than the 3DS ones.
