Just found your website and was wondering once you have finished manufacturing the boards will they be put up on the front page to purchase or will you supply a link in the forum. Also I seen that you don’t allow self installations what about this mod is so challenging?

I logged on tonight expecting the same old "Where's Loopy?" "What's gonna happen to future boards?" posts and this thread has given me hope as to the future of 3DS capture boards (and maybe even Wii U Gamepad boards....? One can only hope...). I bought a modded 3DS from someone and its been fine, but I realized soon after that it was a Katsukity board, and then I learned about them going belly-up... Not a fun day. I'm absolutely thrilled to see a post from Loopy even if it's just a "I'm working on it...!" post because it shows that he still checks in on the forums. I can't wait to see what comes next from Loopy!

Does anyone know if the 2ds original have the same test points as the original 3ds so that the loopy 3ds capture card would be compatible with an adapter for the ffc or is it totally different?

Hmm maybe an experiment is in order. They are only $40 at gamestop right now for a used one. One of the reasons why I want to get another board. I don't like taking one of my boards in and out of a working system

Old capture card is attached to a bunch of test points on the 3DS mainboard. 2DS has all the same points but they've been moved around.

Minor update. Next PCB rev is laid out and ordered. I have a pretty good idea of how I want the final board to look now.
I'm also looking into getting another batch of old 3DS boards made, because ... why not. Clearly there's still demand for it. I've wanted to retire the old design for quite a while but this will hold things over til I get something new going.
