This one is only $1000
https://www.ebay.com/itm/133175779699?V ... 3175779699

But it is just a relisting of this one
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo-New2D ... 7675.l2557

But that one never sold. I don't think anyone will be buying them especially if Loopy makes a batch for the old 3ds to keep demand in check. Only thing you can't play new games. Even old eshop nes games won't let you play on the old 3ds. If someone was desperate enough to capture gameplay just point a camera at the screen.

Are there any plans for a capture board for the standard size New 3DS?

As I understand it, all the New* models are pretty similar internally. It won't take much extra effort to support all of them. I think New3dsXL is the most common though, that's what I was planning on starting with.

The new 2ds xl board is a bit different than the new 3ds/new 3ds xl boards. Maybe the board has the same contacts though, but it is 1 board vs 2 boards connected via ffc on the new 3ds/new 3ds xl. The new 2ds xl came out considerable later than the rest so maybe it will be supported longer and be more available? And it would only have one set of video to deal with on the upper lcd since no 3d to deal with. What would be cool would be a capture board/controller mod on the same board. Not a lot of room inside the console to play with though.

I hope you do go with making New 2DS XL boards. I bought one a couple months ago, so it's sitting in its box, unopened and ready to be modded. :D

Just one question, though. Will there be Mac support to stream a New 2DS XL with your upcoming capture card boards? If not, I may have to create a Windows partition on my Mac to stream DS/3DS games.

I don't know. Don't count on it. Eventually? Maybe?

I'll post an update at the end of the week and let you know how it's going.
So far so good. There's not much to show yet, but I'm getting a stable signal in from the 3DS. Still need to work on the USB side of things.
Some proof (sort of) that I'm not making everything up :P
