Loopy Capture Card Software Volume Grayed Out

Hello everyone! So here's the problem: I have the original Nintendo DS with Loopy Capture Card. Everything works completely perfect - but I have no audio. I was looking on the page where you download the software, and it says if you don't have audio download DirectX Runtime. I did that - but the audio bar is completely grayed out and it can't be moved. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Is this an older capture card, or the newest one with audio?

It's an older one. The Capture Card is 8 months old at this point.

I had the audio until I had to factory reset my PC.

The old DS boards don't do audio capture. That's why the volume is disabled.

I messed up it's the newer board. I had the audio, but now I don't ever since I factory reset my PC.

According to the FAQ: "If the volume slider is disabled, install the DirectX Runtime (link on front page). For other audio recording issues, see here."

That's for older versions, the latest software doesn't need it.

Just to be clear, are you sure it's the newer version of the DS CC?
If you go in the Device Manager, what do you see?

Click on the Properties of the Device, to give more info.

This question is kinda dumb. But How do I check on my PC if I have the latest version of Loopy Capture Card.
