Blurry/slightly oversaturated video output (solved)

Post by UnbrokenGlass » Mon Oct 21, 2024 3:30 am

Shows up like this in recording software both in window and in capture. Not really sure if this is an issue that can be easily fixed or not. Hoping it's not an issue with my capture board.

Seems like you stretched the window, if you ask me...?
What happens if you try to shrink it to the minimum size?

Very similar overall results at 400x240. I used snip and sketch to get this screenshot and the one from before

So this happens even when looking at it directly?

What if you use https://github.com/Lorenzooone/cc3dsfs/ ... x86_64.zip ?
I have no clue why this is happening to you with Loopy's software (and it doesn't make sense, tbh), but I know for sure my software will enforce proper scaling.

Just to be sure, in loopy's capture software, have you tried right clicking the preview window and adjusting the options there? Specifically, have you tried changing the "Scaling" option to "Point"?

Oh my god, I never once thought to right click the output window and yep, it was set to bilinear this whole time. This is extremely embarrassing lmao but thank you very much

No problem! Just be sure to use integer scaling when on Point, unless you don't mind uneven pixel scaling. To help with that, while dragging and resizing the output window, it will "snap" to integer scaled resolutions (2x, 3x, etc.) Have fun!
