USB-C Mod for Katsukity-Optimize Mini-USB Boards?

Hey all,
I have a Katsukity board on an o3DS that works* with some yellowing on the output of the bottom screen, but it's made me a little nervous. Recently if I even barely bump the bottom of the 3DS, it disconnects from my PC.

Does anyone know if there's a USB-C mod to swap off from the Mini-USB, or am I stuck in DC purgatory?

Cute little connector. I might pick up a few.
I would find a way to secure it better though, it doesn't look very stable.

If you use the Amazon USB-C ports, you should solder the shield to the pads (red spots in image) to help keep it secure, assuming you didn't rip them off.
