3DS XL Capture Card

Just putting it out there, but would you consider an upgrade service?
Something like we send your our capture card and an XL and for a smaller fee, you mod the XL and keep the 3DS to sell like a pre-owned store or something.
I don't know how feesable that is with costs and all, or how many people would bother with it, but it would be kinda cool in my opinion

How's the progress coming along? I am wondering if I send you my standard 3ds to modify and then you have the 3ds xl available in the future can we get a discount for repeat business? Thanks in advance.

A test board is coming in Monday. There is still quite a bit of work to do (testing, final board layout, more testing, start manufacturing...) It'll be a while, but things are finally coming together. I don't know about discounts yet, but I'll think about it.

Yay for the 3DS XL capture board! You probably haven't noticed by now, but I have a 3DS XL now, (got it for Christmas in 2013 as a gift from my grandparents) so I was hoping that when I get the $200-450, (depending on what the price is for the 3DS XL since it will be less that the 3DS cost) I will be able to send my 3DS XL to you when it is tested and manufactured. I don't want to send my 3DS XL quite yet though, but I will comment on the other thread when I get the money for it.

Please keep us posted about the price point and when it will be available for purchase. Thanks in advance!

It won't cost more. Possibly less. The board is going through a fairly major redesign and will be a lot smaller.

A CPP will need to be modified, unfortunately. I'll have to pick one up and try it. At least it won't be as bad as the original CPP, since you don't need to make a big hole for the capture board to fit in.
